Green Features:
- User-friendly open floor plan with smart storage space:
Efficient use of space and more intelligent storage features makes the home feel more comfortable and more spacious.
- Designed to maximize natural light and ventilation:
The home has abundant natural light with large windows and doors and unique loft windows. In the cooler months the home can be opened up to allow consistent air flow. Both light and ventilation create a truly comfortable home.
- Eat-in kitchen with recycled glass counter-tops:
All the cabinets are finished with no VOC finishes and the counter-top is made from recycled glass. The open plan kitchen includes a breakfast bar, Energy Star appliances, and a unique indoor herb garden which takes advantage of the natural light.
- 2-story outdoor living/entertaining area:
900 total sq.ft. outdoor living/entertaining area with second story formal seating area and first floor bar/grilling area. Perfect space for taking advantage of the best weather Florida has to offer.

All the paints, stains and finishes used in the home are zero or low VOC, they give of little or no pollutants compared to regular paints and finishes creating a much healthier home.
- Dual-flush toilets and low-flow faucets:
Uses much less water than conventional systems.
- Low-maintenance siding, decking and railings:
Made from composite materials using recycled or waste materials makes the decking not only good for the environment, but also extremely durable with very little maintenance required.
- High efficiency-impact resistant windows and doors:
The house has the top-of-the-line Andersen 400 series windows and doors which are highly efficient and impact resistant.
- High efficiency metal roof:
The metal roof is highly reflective which stops heat transfer into the house and also has a very long life span.
- Florida native landscaping:
All the plants in the landscaping are Florida native which means they require a lot less maintenance than more tropical plants and are much more drought, flood and heat tolerant, and attract more native birds and butterflies.
- High efficiency geo-thermal HVAC system:
The Water Furnace geo-thermal air conditioning system is the top of the line. It is highly efficient, includes a dehumidifier, plus, pre-heats the hot water meaning free hot water when the air conditioning is running.
- Instant hot water system:
At the push of a button hot water is delivered to the shower or faucet meaning the end of running cold water down the drain waiting for it to get hot.
- Greywater reuse system:
Greywater (water from showers, tubs, faucets and washing machine) is collected, stored and reused to flush the toilets saving up to 40% of the daily water use.
- Security and fire/smoke alarm system.
